Conventional cutting blades are asymmetrical to the cutting edge and produce a concave crosssection geometry which leads to considerable measuring errors.

Symmetrical precision cutting blades produce a rectangular cross-section geometry and thus high-precision test specimens for reliable and reproducible test results.
